It is 1977 when an idea resonates among the placid hills of Parma. A new idea for construction, one that was making its way into a market traditionally dominated by cold concrete and immovable brick. Sergio Bernazzoli’s idea is simple, as simple as the greatest ideas are: to use prefabricated metalwork to make modules, and parts of modules, that can be fully customizable.
Lightweight construction, a construction that, at the height of the 1970s, had very little that was traditional.
This is how New House was born, close to the river and the highway route, in a green area bordered by hills.
The first production site, expanded after only 8 years of business, was later joined by three different industrial lines and as many departments, people, offices. For over 45 years we have been designing and building prefabricated metal carpentry for construction sites, schools, emergency units, in the civil, industrial, sports, military and commercial fields.

Today New House stands out in the international scene for its strong design expertise, which treats each new project as if it were a unicum in which the final result is an emerging property, arising from the sum of its elements.
Ad hoc solutions and customizations are part of the company’s DNA, transversal to a multidisciplinary technical department and flexible production.
On a production area of more than 100,000 square meters, achievements ranging from small shipbuilding support units to technical facilities for industry to large multi-story complexes alternate in a schedule that knows no boredom.
The modular combinations are virtually infinite, as are the intended uses: housing, schools, shops, supermarkets, offices, services, canteens, laboratories, warehouses, technical areas.

More than 45 years have passed, but every morning Sergio still accompanies us to his factory, where a close-knit team searches for the constant precision, the most perfect quality, the unexpected solution and the solidity that distinguishes us. With a consolidated turnover among the most important in the industry, and the important projects developed for NATO and the UN, New House s.p.a. confirms itself for the company it has always been: a composed innovator, who knows how to anticipate the needs of the market.
This is reflected in the latest products, DOMINO and Bar Box fittings, and the already intentional desire to lower production emissions through the massive installation of photovoltaic panels.

Today we find sole director Pierluigi Ghidoni at the helm of the company, flanked by Francesca and Filippo Folloni.
Grandchildren of the founder and current president Sergio Bernazzoli, together with Pierluigi are ambassadors of the unique character of the company, made up of inventiveness, innovation, solidity and quality.
But also of family, passion, and commitment.
