In 2016, a major electrical installation company commissioned a control room destined for Argentina.
The 3.40-meter-high plant consisted of two separate containers: a 3-by-4.50-meter one intended to house the transformers and a larger one (12.19 by 4.50 meters) for the electrical and control panels.
Given the special nature of the equipment it would contain and the final place of destination, a particularly solid structure was needed, so an IPE 330 beam base (a full 33 centimeters high) with side infill, welded to the structure, with 20/10 steel trapezoidal sheet metal was chosen.
Internal insulation was provided by 50 mm thick polyurethane panels.
In addition to a large header door, the containers also provided two large 4-door side doors for easy access to instrumentation.
An air-conditioning system and a specially calibrated smoke detection and extinguishing system were also provided internally for the safety of the electrical equipment present.
