In early 2014, a well-known company implanted in the railroad construction industry, a longtime client of New House, commissioned a building of about 920 m² to be used as a canteen/kitchen.
The metal prefabs used by New House belonged to the 2000 Series given the structural flexibility required. The 2000 Series modular prefabs constitute the category of “mid-range” units, equipped with excellent value for money. These prefabricated modules were developed in accordance with the customizations required by the customer.
The prefabricated monoblocks were equipped with 60 mm thick polyurethane foam insulated walls and included a large mess hall, ameal distribution area, and akitchen area. The building was equipped with prefabricated battery toilets and prefabricated locker rooms. The two-story complex was equipped with electrical systems and capillary distributed cooling/heating systems.
The resulting environment was amply appreciated by the client, who repeatedly stressed the functionality of the rooms and the speed of installation. The prefabs were installed in the green hills of the Genoa hinterland.
