The interesting distribution project of our client, involved the placement of the first containerized ice cream shop at Cagliari – Elmas airport.
The project involved the construction of a prefabricated containerized ice cream shop containing all the necessary equipment for the distribution of a new brand of ice cream in Europe.
The new brand, exalted the food characteristics of the product that needed special attention during storage.
For this need the container, built with monolithic load-bearing steel structure, was equipped internally with machinery and refrigerated display cases typical of artisanal production.
The fully conditioned ice cream module was equipped with a technical compartment containing air conditioning unit and compressors for the refrigeration compartment.
The interior floor was equipped with porcelain tiles, with drainage channels to facilitate interior cleaning.
The bathroom, accessible from the outside, included a chemical toilet and sink.
Externally, the module was equipped with opening doors made of insulated aluminum to open compartments for customer service.
On the same side, two large and sturdy platforms covered in ashlar aluminum allowed for the creation of a patio that was particularly useful for the placement of tables and chairs for customer service.
This project was a pioneering project whose development will lead to several openings at major Italian air hubs in the coming years.
