Destination Kazakhstan!
In 2018 New House carried out an important project commissioned by one of the first Italian construction companies and destined precisely for the Asian republic.
The job order involved the construction of 3 modular buildings, each consisting of 5 20-foot modules of the M1 Series, to be used for workshops and mobile hangars. The special feature requested by the client and developed by New House technicians is that the 5 prefabricated modules, each of which houses a different workshop (mechanical, electrical, engines, etc.), are arranged in a “horseshoe” shape; in the center, a large space was then created – covered by a roof with a self-supporting structure formed by uprights and trusses with insulated panel and closed in front by a large hinged door – to be used as a hangar/vehicle shelter.
Each of the 3 structures covers about 150 square meters and is designed to withstand the harsh Kazakh climatic conditions, especially the strong winds (up to 150 km/h) that blow in the area and for the large temperature ranges (temperatures during the year can vary from -40°C to + 40°C). Other features specific to this product include the presence of reinforced basements and wooden concrete floors with almond aluminum footing to be able to withstand without any problems the (sometimes considerable) weight and stresses of various machinery and equipment, as well as an electrical system specially calibrated and designed for the needs of the 5 workshops.
Also to better withstand the weather, thehangar structure was made of hot-dip gal vanized steel, and the individual modules, made of galvanized steel shaping profiles, were are are finished with a catalyzed paint.
